Seedlings runs two early learning centres in Halswell, Christchurch: Longhurst and Knights Stream Park. They’re Reggio-inspired, bicultural and run by owners who care how children learn. The old site showed none of that. And like most centres in New Zealand they were full, so the site’s job wasn’t to chase enrolments. It was to reflect the centres properly and be ready for when that changes. The logo was a tidy-up, not a redesign. Each element of the existing mark was kept and given a clear meaning: the child at the centre, a nurturing frame, a feather for the korowai teachers wear, and five roots for Seedlings’ five core values. Brand voice guidelines set the tone: warm, grounded and plain-spoken, with te reo woven through. The Framer site is structured around what parents actually ask: what a day looks like, who the teachers are, how enrolment works. Original photography from Ghost&Co shows real children and real educators. Enquiry forms are built and ready, switched off until the centres have space. In the first few hours after launch the site had 290 unique visitors, a 26% bounce rate and nearly six pages per visit.
