Mike Greer Homes is one of New Zealand's largest home builders, with a 25-year legacy of creating quality homes across the country. Working with their leadership team, we built a site that showcases their national presence, while simplifying the home buying journey. Our process started with stakeholder workshops to understand the core user needs. This led to a complete navigation restructure, aligning with real user journeys - from first home buyers to investors. Knowing most users browse homes on mobile, we designed mobile-first, featuring a search widget that stays with users throughout their journey. The advanced search puts control in users' hands, with filters updating in real-time. A key challenge was integrating their property database, which required close collaboration with their sales team to ensure the design accommodated complex data requirements. Behind the scenes, we structured the Sanity CMS to make content management intuitive for regional teams. Post-launch, we've used heatmapping and analytics to continuously refine the experience, making data-driven improvements to user journeys.
